winterizing pool chemicals? hazardous?
hey all, the other day my pool started to turn green when we brought it to namco some kid there told us all of our chemincals were good, but to get rid of the green algea, we would have to use a algecide, however.. they ran out. but he said we could use a winterizer because it contained the same ingrediants. 2 days later the pool is still full of algea no difference so we went back.. well i didnt .. my fiance did. so .. the other guy told us that he wanted to know who told us that becuase that kid was going to be introuble .. from what he said the winterizer could have seriously harmed us. i cannot find anything on google, or ask.. so im asking you, has anyone heard of this and if so what am i spose to do?> we have swimmed in it, even being green, cuz we were told it was gunna go away.. what am i to do? can i die now? what is going to happen? should i open a law suit or something! what! please help
You got in the pool??? I dont think that you can sue. If you have alege you need to clean out the green. You cant die, but you could burn your skin. Arent you testing your water?? I’d call in a pro and have them help you out. Its very important to treat you water so you dont damage your skin. winterizing your pool depends on the climate you live in. Mild or hard winters. You need a pro for that . Good luck!!
