what chemical or product should I add to the water in our new pool?
We just finished filling our first above ground pool . We bought the pool used and several types of chemicals came with it. What is the first thing I need to add?
i own a pool company.first of all,you need to add four (4) pounds of stabilizer/conditioner same thing to pool.run 24 hours. next day add one pound of granulated chlorine to full bucket of water.dissolve completely.then put in two more one pound per bucket.next add two tablets to floater .you also need a test kit to check chemicals once a week the conditioner makes the water hold chlorine check chems more often if it rains.chlorine should read on test kit 3.0 ph should read 7.2to 7.8
