My hair was horribly damaged for years and years of dying it. I’ve found that the neutrogena hair products work really well. They’re expensive, but they worked wonders. I think the two best to buy are the conditioning mask (squat little jar) and the leave-in conditioner. Beyond that, just condition every day, don’t comb your hair while its wet, and don’t put heat on it whenever you can avoid it. I think the single best thing I ever did for my damaged hair was deciding to shower at night instead of the morning, and letting my hair dry on its own overnight instead of using damaging heat.
