I like tropical. I live in zone 7/8 kind of borderline, in the southeastern US… I have two banana trees and four sago palms (which are still pretty small)…I want some more tropical plants that will get tall quick like the banana trees, and can be cut back every year, if need be. I would also like some bold colors. I am redoing all of the beds bordering the pool area, and am not set on anything firm. I don’t know that I want to dig up any of my bulbs because it is really too late..(asiatic lillies, cala lillies, and iris’)
