Heat Protection Hair Care Products

heat protection hair care products
products for blow drying curly hair?

I have pretty tight curls that are kind of short (strait they barely reach my shoulders/curly they almost reach my chin)
I blow dry my hair, but I don’t want to damage it.
Is every other day washing it and drying it before school too ofter? Will that damage the hair.
I use a diffuser and I have a spray to protect against heat damage, but I want to know if there is a better product to use.
What is a good heat protection product for curly hair? Lots of people tell me most heat activated products are too heavy for curly hair and way it down so I don’t really know what I’m looking for.
I don’t really have anyone to ask. My neighbor cuts my hair and my mom doesn’t know/care very much about hair so I’m so confused.
Oh also I wand to get a new hair dryer and maybe diffuser since mine are ancient and cheep. What’s a good one? I don’t have a ton of money to spend, but I still want a good one.

thank you

I always use a leave-in conditioner, then a serum or straightening balm. Both of these protect the hair from heat. I use the Paul Mitchell super skinny straightening balm and it doesn’t weigh my hair down. I would check Target or Walmart for blow dryers; buy the one that you can afford. Anyway, blow dryers usually last forever.
