Do you Intex pool for winter?

We live in North Carolina and has an Intex pool (not the type to fly, has a a metal structure vinyl siding). It was a pain to set up and my husband does not want to take it for the winter, you want the cover. We have a mild winter (cold, snow and occasional freezing). I'm afraid it will fail if we quit. Any experience or advice? Thank you!

I own a pool company and since you live in North Carolina and you get the ice and snow may be advisable to down.i to know it's a pain in the ass to do, but can crack when it freezes then all that money invested in it is something to think gone.just
