Revacil Pool Chemicals Problems

My non-chlorine pool is so cloudy- what should I do?

I was using Baquacil and recently switched to Revacil because my pool company switched brands. One big problem was when I took the first sample in to be tested after opening the pool ( I take the water to be tested, do not do it on my own) come to find out they did not give me the right amount of chemicals to open the pool with. I have been playing catch up ever since. My pool feels clean on the bottom and sides and isn’t looking like it has algae or anything, but it is so cloudy that you can’t even see your legs through the water. The water doesn’t stink or seem dirty. My pool lady said to flock it, so I am. I am hoping this does the trick, cause I am almost ready to switch to chlorine. Anyone have any other ideas or use Revacil and have this problem? Should the flock do the job?

No offence but chlorine is the only way to really go with a pool otherwise surprise surprise it goes cloudy.

Be it a salt cell or just granular chlorine they all work the same way in the end they clear the water.
The floc only works on very light sediment like dust in the water and allows it to float to the bottom so you can vacuum it. Dollars to donuts says the floc will not solve your problem, but like the other gentleman said as soon as you add that chlorine youll be clean and clear.

Might take a few days to clear out unless you super chlorinate the water but eventually it will come around as long as your stabilizer levels are good in the water and your chlorine isnt burned out by the sun.
