What chemicals do I need to buy for the pool I’m fixing to buy and how much do I use?
I am buying an Above-Ground Swimming Pool thats 24′ x 52″. I have never had a pool before so I’m not sure what chemicals I need to buy and how much to use for this size pool?????
I will be buying the salt filtration system later as I’ve heard and read about that it’s better and saves money but I don’t really have the extra to spend on that right now unless the chemicals are going to cost me the same to get it going as it would be to buy the salt filtration system, and in that case, I might as well wait about setting it up after I buy the pool and just buy the salt filtration system when I get the money? I just want to go ahead and get the pool cause they are selling out fast everywhere and it’s on sale.

I would buy the pool now and then wait until you have the money to buy the salt system. A salt water system is SOOOOOO much easier! You dump the salt in and that’s about all you do. Its better for your skin, won’t ruin your suit and requires very little maintenance. With the chemicals you are constanly fussing with pH and chlorine levels and running out to buy some dumb chemical to correct this or counter balance that.
