Swimming Pool Chemicals Stabilizers

My swimming pool is soapy. How do I get rid of the bubbles?

The only chemicals I have ever put in are chlorine, baking soda, and chlorine stabilizer.

Usually you get suds due to the use of a cheap algicide. You can get some “FOAM DOWN” and it will temporarly break the surface tension of the water so bubbles cannot form. Its made for hottubs but you can use it in a pool. I would take a water sample to a pool store for testing and metion your problem to them. Its usually free. Your problem also tells me you have air in your suction side. If you elimate that, you will no longer get the sudsing unless you aggitate the water while swimming. The easiest way to find an air leak in front of the punp is to get all the prime you can and turn off the pump. It will squirt water where it is sucking air unless its under ground.
