A guest suggested to me putting burned charcoal in a pillowcase and dropping it into the filter system. He says that this should fix the problem in about an hour. Of course, before making this step the resort wants to research to find if this is harmful and if in fact it actually works. Help!!!! Any suggestions? See if the high pH level of 7.2 to 7.6 is acceptable to open the pool. If the article above is justifiable for your situation. Use your water testing set to see if the charcoal really helps if you do decide to use it. It may casue the water to darken but should not damage the chemistry. You can check with a local chemist for more information.

Well, my experience with large swimming pools (as a high school). Once the Water is turbid. This means that the filters were dirty and the pool should be washed again. After you have washed back by the pool, then it must be extracted (for all the particles coming from the filter). Then you need to wash one's spine. Re-check the chemical levels in between. Opacity not go well within minutes. It takes some time. It took us 2-3 days once. Trial and error, with water from a store is a good start.
