What’s the best heat protector spray for straightening hair with a flat iron?
I dont’t know if this question makes sense…but I flat iron my hair a lot, and I have a bad heat protector. It is a serum and makes my hair look greasy. So can anyone recommend a great heat protector that saves your ahir against hot tools?
I use Aveda Smoothing Fluid. It really is the best thing out there. It is a bit expensive, but you are only suppose to use a drop the size of a nickel on your hair ends and this will make it last a long time. Which will probably explain why your hair looks greasy. This goes for any serum. Squeeze a bit of the serum, about a nickel’s size on your palm then mixing it with both of your palms and then run your palms and fingers through the strands and tips of your hair. Stay away from your scalp. This is great for hair flattening and/or blow drying.

I have super thin hair and oily hair.
I wash my hair every morning due to the oiliness…
I use the straightener to volumize the crown area.
I was wondering if anyone can recommend me a Non Greasy Heat Protector for my hair.
Also a Hair Spray and Volumizing products that doesn’t make your hair greasy and oily.
I’ve tried Treseme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray…
and it made my hair and my face greasy…

I used the tresemme heat tamer for a long time. It used to not really affect my face but as I started using their products again recently my face has broken out, my hair feels extremely dry and split, and it looks dull and lifeless all of the time. My personal favorite heat protector is garnier fructis leave in conditioner. Its a leave in but it helps tame the heat. Another really good one is Aussie Hair Insurance, it protects hair from damage and definitely wont make hair greasy. Also, try another shampoo if your hair isn’t responding well to the ones you have been using. Tresemme products are very drying, I would recommend Aussie. My stylist told me it was good, its affordable, smells good, and has natural oils in them. Go on Aussie’s web page and they will help you find a shampoo right for your hair type. Best of luck!
