How many billion years does it take for a pool of chemicals to produce a living bacterium?
Darwinists say that pools of chemicals struck by lightning can produce complex microorganisms directed by staggering amounts of information in DNA, that can carry out metabolism and reproduction, and that develop microscopic machinery such as flagella that no human engineer could replicate. How long does it take to get complex DNA information and micromachinery driving a living cell from random pools of chemicals?
Stephen, giving scientific names to an imagined process doesn’t give make an impossible act of supplying complex information from random physical catalysts any more plausible.
You know? I was thinking about this today and what I would like to add is not just the time it takes but how did it remain sustained and propagate for billions of years afterward.
I mean it is one thing for people to theorize that life came from dead matter but the real question for me is how did it survive since every “living” organism is solely dependent upon the consumption of another organism or matter that was once living. i.e. the oil eating bacteria feeds on the liquefied, heated and compressed remains of plant and animal matter.
The mathematical calculation of life starting by accident is 10 to the 40th power (basically impossible), what is the calculation of 1000’s of life forms all starting by accident in a perfect sequence that allows for a food chain?
Can science explain this?
