Pool Maintenance Costs

pool maintenance costs
We just bought a house with an above ground pool .. The costs of maintenance?

We just bought a house with a pool above ground (I think it is a 15 x 30 feet) and I was wondering what to expect maintenance to do this summer? I know there are chemicals that are added and hold regularly levels (chlorine, pH, algicide) checks, but other chemicals, is what it costs us a lot of money for maintenance? We bought a Pool cleaner waste, so we have no time cleaning by hand, and I am now buying chemicals, there is nothing I'm missing? The former owner of the house has come today around the pump and so on put together, but I'm curious to see the answers here, so I know what need to ask.

You need a pH test kit. Once the test kit and water every day (it comes with booklet), you will know exactly what needs to be added to water.

What can I do to my hair?

My hair is very dry and thin. It is naturally curly, but it's not a good guy lol. Only one slightly wavy, curly a little effeminate, so I sit a lot. He was so thin and my hair used to be super thick. Even recently, when I straighten my hair straight stick and does not move, so you do not look natural or healthy. I use as a heat shield on my hair, but what can I do? What products or advice can help?

I agree with Erik. If your hair does not work with you, it is better to leave him alone for a while. Let it breathe and recover from all the heat and the product that you took up this. Try using the shampoo natural recovery in the meantime and come back later with us if your hair healthy:))

7th grade math problem?

The Fresh Water Club has a $35,000 budget for pool maintenenance this year. The club members have agreed to raise the budget by 4%. Estimate the pool maintenance budget for next year.

To find 4% of 35,000, multiply 35,000 by 0.04:

(35000)(0.04) = 1400

Add 1400 to 35000:

1400 + 35000 = 36400

The budget for next year is $36,400.

How do I take care of a pool?

My boyfriend and I are buying a foreclosed home that has a large in ground concrete pool. The pool is in good condition, but is somewhat of a frog pond at the moment. We plan on draining it and cleaning it, then filling it. Neither of us know how to care for a pool though. A friend told us that salt water pools are less maintenance, but is it safe for concrete? How expensive is it to care for, chlorine or salt water? And how much does a custom cover cost? Because the shape of the pool is definitely unique. Thanks for helping out!

Can you cook cookies or cupcakes in the NuWave Pro Infared Oven 20326?

I saw this little baby on an article on Yahoo! http://shopping.yahoo.com/articles/yshoppingarticles/400/best-products-for-campus-bound-kids/
So, I was wondering exactly what you can cook in it and does it change the regular cooking time since the heat is more contained and closer to the food?

Tyler Is Right.
You Don’t Cook Cookies And Cupcakes you bake them there is a huge difference between them.

To cook, is to subject foods to the action of heat in order to make them more digestable. There are various ways of applying heat to foods. The method used depends on wheather the item is tough or tender.

Baking is the primary cooking method used in preparing breads, cakes, pies and pastries. Baking like roasting of meats is cooking by surrounding the item with dry heat in an oven. The baking time will vary depending on the size of the item, the temperature of the oven, the type of item involved, and the particular ingredients involved

Any volunteer cycle mechanics/enthusiasts for non-profit group in London?

Evening, all.

I work as a volunteer mechanic with a cycling-promotion organisation called Pedal Power London (our web site is at http://www.pedalpowerlondon.org/). We’ve just moved into new, bigger workshop premises off Shepherd’s Bush and we’re looking to expand the sorts of services we offer: pool-bike schemes, ‘Dr Bike’ mobile cycle surgeries (where we visit companies, town halls, etc and repair people’s bikes for free) and cycle maintenance lessons.

Trouble is, our second mechanic has moved out of the area, so we’re down to one mechanic (me). Are there any keen cycle mechanics, or enthusiastic ‘amateurs’, who might be interested in doing maybe four hours (or a bit more!) a week, working on our stock of bikes to keep them on the road? We can cover travelling expenses, obviously.

Cheers, Jon.

wish i could help!

good luck

My hair is a curly disaster help!?

my hair when curly goes down to my shoulders.
I am in middle skool. so no old lady hair does.
i really dont mind straightening it.
but a heat protector for my hair wouldnt be bad are there any good ones? where? how much?
layers are good for wen it is straight.
It goes just below my shoulders.
i am dirty blonde.
any good hair care products for me is specific?
any anti friz protects?
websites are good.

I suggest you wear your hair naturally. It’s a lot easier and healthier. Long hair with long layers is probably the best cut (for straightened or natural hair). The layers will help with drying and untangling time. The hair will also hang better. However, DO NOT get short layers (they will stick up and look funny) or “thinning” with razors (that will make your ends ratty).

Here are some basic tips for curly hair that you might find helpful:
*Try to find a stylist who knows how to work with curly hair. You can find ratings by region here: http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlsalons
*Don’t shampoo every day.
*Comb conditioner through hair in the shower.
*Never use a brush on dry hair, only untangle when the hair is wet.
*Apply styling products to dripping wet hair. Scrunch or twirl hair to achieve desired shape.
*Use styling products suited for your hair type. Don’t know yours? http://www.naturallycurly.com/hair-types
*Avoid terrycloth towels; use microfiber or t-shirts instead.
*Air dry or use a diffuser with your blowdryer.
*Don’t touch (or brush!) your hair while it’s drying

For specific products for your hair type you’ll want to explore the forums at:
There you can find others with the same hair type and try out some of their favorite products.

If you want to run out and pick something up locally, I recommend trying LA Looks or Herbal essences gels (drugstore); Biotera gel and cream (Sally’s Beauty Supply); Suave Naturals/vo5 conditioners (really cheap); Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose Condish (semi-cheap but super moisturizing; found at organics/specialty stores); red Cream of Nature shampoo (drugstore again); and L’oreal out of bed weightless texturizer (black tub, use under gel). These are all good things to try, and be sure to tinker around with amounts and how you use any products.

Lastly, it has made my hair so much better since I started the curly girl method! I used to almost never wear it down (it was a frizz/poof ball), but now I have pretty, shiny curls. ~:) It’s pretty radical—no sulfates (shampoo) or silicones—but it’s so great for curly hair. Give it a shot and check it out:
