How to maintain an above ground pool.?
We just bought an Intex Easy Set Pool.
How much chlorine do I keep in the dispenser at all times. And what maintenance do I have to do with this pool. It is an 18×48 size pool and under 6 000 gallons of water.
I bought a little floater thing that you put the chlorine tablets in. Don’t have a clue how many tablets should be in there at once, and what hole to open it to. There are 1-4 holes to choose from.
And I also bought the test strips.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Ok lol, i have an inground pool but it is basically all the same except that your pool is not in the gound LOL.
you keep like 2-3 tablets in the chlorine floater ( the one that goes around the pool. You can put 2-3 depending how strong you want your pool to be.. If any of your kids or you open your eyes under water, put like 2.
For the maitenence, make sure all the pipes are working and run water through them before so they are all slick and ready to use. There should be about a 2-3 inch by 2-3 inch screw top in the floater that unscrews by hand, to put the tablets in.
