I need a good shampoo and conditioner. I have thick, dark brown (almost black) hair, and I used to straighten it a lot without any protection. It’s not really badly damaged yet, and I’ve stopped straightening my hair completely (except for my bangs, but I use Tresemme heat protector on that) .

Herbal essences doesn’t do much for my hair, so I was wondering if these products are similar to it in ingredient? Are they bad for my hair in the long run? Which one is the best to make thick, somewhat-long hair, silky/shiny/strong?
