Which tools are the best hair in the school again?

I am a freshman in the fall and I am looking forward to buying some new hair products. I need everything from shampoo and conditioner to smooth hair curling iron. I have a lot of research and intend to buy these things with my own money. I want the total amount to keep it under $ 250. I know how to use all the products, but I'm not sure who the best for me.
