I am new to the chemical mixture of swimming pool water. The chemical kit that contains an array of colors.?

When I tested the pH, this morning it was almost a fuschia color, it seems to me from the list of top + ph. The kit KEM-tek.com Chem I tried in a small pH, it is to balance and for me the filter off, but I'm not afraid that I gal now 'm just a patch of poision 4500 I just want to be sure my children and friends are safe for swimming. Thoughts? Quick response would be greatly appreciated.

There is no problem with the kids swim in the pool while you try to correct your ph. Simply start pH by adding 2 oz to the pump, wait 2-3 hours and check again. (If it's still off the map, you can start with 4 ounces, but only two after). Children in the pool actually help more quickly to mix with the pump. When I open my pool I have the inverse problem ….. ph has to be +. I was going through 3 tanks. So take your time and everything will be fine. Hope this helps.
