How long should I wait before adding chlorine?
I have a 25,000 gallon pool and I checked my levels today. They were totally off so I went and bought quite a bit of stuff. I added about 2.5 quarts of muriatic acid. It says to add another dose in 24 hours but I also need to add chlorine. I know you should never mix chemicals. So how long before I add chlorine?
Never be too eager to add anything to a swimming pool, remember the only thing to leave a pool is water through evaporation which means anything that’s added which isn’t pure water will stay in the pool forever. The best thing to do with a pool is to run the pumps, the filter is the only thing that actually improves the quality of the water in the pool.
