Does anybody have an inexpensive way to warm up a pool about five degrees.?
* 12,000 gal above ground pool.
* The pool heaters cost about $1,200 – $1,500 (I don’t want to spend that kind of money.)
* The solar covers are such a pain to work with, I would rather not go swimming, if I have to fool with that.
* I was thinking about some kind of heating element that plugs in the outlet. Something similar to what they have in an electric water heaters.
1) Invite a classroom full of preschoolers to your house.
2) Give them each two diet cokes
3) “Everybody in the pool!!”
Problem solved.
Solar covers work well, and if you get the roll-up kind they are not too hard to work with.
