awkward stage of hair growth :(?
im trying to grow my hair out and it grows about 4 inches every 3 weeks,beginning of the hair cut. than after a while it grows 1/2 every month. considering how my hair is about 3 inches how long do you think until i get to about 7-8 inches? heres my daily thing
shower. Suave all in one conditioner+shampoo. than a color+softener conditioner
let hair dry for 10 minutes spray on heat protection than blowdry for 10 minutes on hot, low,than cool.
any way i can speed up the process??? and yes i can wait

It will take your hair 10 months to get 5 more inches to reach 8 inches if your hair grows 1/2 inch per month. When you first get a haircut, does anything in your life change? Do you eat healthier, exercise, etc. It can be effecting your hair growth, it is really weird that your hair will know that it was cut shorter and know to grow faster. If you have 4 inches in 3 weeks, it will take you that long to get to your goal. So look over what you do during that time. In the meantime, massaging the scalp can promote blood flow in the scalp which stimulates the hair follicles, do this twice a day. Another thing is an essential oil which stimulates the hair follicles by promoting blood flow is rosemary and peppermint oil. You should always mix these with a carrier oil (like castor oil) because it will be way to potent on its own. It is 1 ounce of the castor oil to 5-10 drops of an essential oil and apply this to the scalp at night, sleep and wash out in the morning. An applicator bottle would be best to apply it or just rub it on your scalp. I will slow down on the heat though, I know you use a heat protectant but hair shouldn’t have heat applied daily as it will still cause damage. You can actually just use low or cool (this is what I do).
