How to do the very minimum maintenance on my swimming pool?
Nobody is swimming in my pool, I just want to maintain my pool for when I resell my house.
I want to keep it covered and still keep it clean. I don’t want high expenses on my pool. Just the minimum attention, the minimum water, the minimum electricity.

I had the same issue as you with my last home. Swimming pools are great if they are used often like I did.
When I knew I was selling my home in the spring was:
I went to my pool supply store and asked them what to do. They told me to get a winter supply kit which I did.
I kept it covered but didn’t let the water get to shallow because I didn’t want anything to crack do to the cold weather.
I also turn the pool off so not to add to my electric bill. I also checked it every few weeks to make sure all was OK.
I then placed large pots of “ever green” shrubs around it to soften up the look. I picked out things that I loved and that went together so when I moved I brought these with me.
I then planted these at my new home. I bought the plants in the off season to save money.
