Should I Get A Chi or Sedu? ?

which one should I buy? I need a new flat iron and I’m deciding between these two, as they both have highly good reviews, but not sure which one to get…
I have medium coarse hair and I need something to keep it long lasting, smooth and tamed throughout the entire day.

ALSO, can anyone recommend a good heat protectant/shine enhancer?

Thanks.

I have both, the sedu is way better for the following reasons.

1. I went through 3 chi’s in two months. The quality is horrible, and the plates dont even touch leading to snagging and having run the straightner through many times.
I have never had a problem with my sedu, and it glides through my hair easily and I never have to run the iron over the same piece more than twice.

2. The chi always made my hair smell like burnt, it was gross.
The sedu does not do this,

3. My sedu makes my hair straight for days-even in the rain

4. The chi made my hair look rough, while the sedu makes it smooth and shiny.

I much prefer the sedu to the chi, its just so much better, the chi is so damaging and poor quality its not worth it.

For a heat protector I really like Matrix Vavoom Iron in control. Its a dry mist so it doesnt make hair greasy, and it really protects and creates shine, and smells good. I love it. Its $15 but lasts a while.

Let me know if you need more help, good luck!

Sedu irons please tell if you know if they will or not ruin hair?

Will a Sedu flat iron ruin hair… The reviews look very good but I am skeptical that the iron can hide damage and make hair crispy. I use Super Shine spray as a heat protectant, not sure if it actually protects

The opposite… The plates are coated with tourmaline (its a type of stone that actually polishes your hair)

Try not using the highest heat setting (that will also save your hair)

Should I get the Chi Iron?

I’m asian 🙂 And usually asian people have thick strands of hair. I straighten my hair everyday with a Wet to Straight Iron http://www.hair-straightener.net/Remington_Wet_2_Straight_82137121_review.html
With a Chi Iron guard heat protectant.
But it is super hot and takes forever to heat up. And my hair doesn’t even get straight the way I want it to be like the salon. ( They use the Chi too )
My hair also kinda flips at the end. http://www.marieclaire.com/cm/realbeauty/images/tN/rb-medium-straight-hair-56-0809-de.jpg Like this but more pointing out wards, I want it PINNED straight.
I feel kind of hesitant of buying it, what should I do 😮

I have a CHI flat iron, and I must say that I love it. Though, I stopped using it since I don’t want to damage my hair. Anyways, it makes your hair very soft and smooth and of course straight. No frizzes, the only downside to my flat iron is that it has no heat adjustment.

Also one last thing, honestly I can’t purchase stuff off the internet, but if I could I would have gotten the Sedu. You should research and check it out. I read tons of reviews that it’s one of the best hair straightner. But because I can’t purchase online, I had to settle with a CHI, which works well.
